STEM Theme Day

Pupils had a fantastic STEM (science, maths engineering and technology) day! It was a brilliant day where pupils had lots of fun, learnt new concepts and created memorable learning experiences with their peers.

They enjoyed a carousel of STEM activities including;

  • The maths station, where pupils explored a range of activities. Some included using Numicon, working at the till as a shop keeper, bowling and counting the pins and building with blocks.
  • The bubble station, where pupils explored with a range of equipment to make bubbles.
  • Engineering with Emily, where pupils built towers using a range of materials, flew balloons across string and flew rockets into the air.
  • The science experiment, where pupils used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to make a reaction.
  • The technology station, where pupils used a range of technology in the new Sensory room.
